One of them is very boring, and the other is just a cheap clip show (it even has a clip from this special with Barney's voice redubbed, and it sounds so off cause it's a different voice actor).

I will say that often times, Hannah doesn't sound like she gives a damn, which is weird because the special takes place at HER house, so really she's the main kid in the special. Like most of the child actors on Barney, their acting is okay, obviously very goody goody two shoes kids. The kids are some that I remember from the show, Robert, Stephen, Keesha and Hannah. Dont miss this Barney Christmas Special, with two back to back episodes WATCH A NEW BARNEY VIDEO EVERY THURSDAY AND SATURDAY, RIGHT HERE ON THE OFFICIAL YO. Santa in this special is much jollier and friendlier, he has a real beard and his outfit is very fancy. In Waiting for Santa, Santa clearly looks like a cheap Santa you'd see in a shopping centre (too skinny and an obvious fake beard that Buddy the Elf would just pull off), not to mention he sounds so creepy. Claus secretly hates him, lol) so they make presents and deliver them to him while also exploring his workshop. Barney and his friends realise that Santa gives presents to everyone, but Santa never gets any presents himself (I guess Mrs. Obviously after nearly 10 years, the production improved greatly, and the story is a very nice one. I watched it for the first time maybe 2 years ago, after I came across a YouTube channel called 'Cinephile', who's reviewed all the Barney Christmas Specials.ĭespite the awful theme song, this is without a doubt the best Barney Christmas Special, so much better than 'Waiting for Santa'. This is one of those videos with a really awful version of the theme song, and I could tell based on how Barney looks on the cover that it would have that theme, so I never wanted to watch it. I didn't own this video as a child, but I do remember seeing it once in a shop when I was about 4. Barney's 2nd (and best) Christmas Special from 1999.
